It looks like Hasbro has decided to release another movie inspired line of Legends. Much like the Iron Man set, this one is going to feauture characters relvanet to Marvel Studio's latest release, The Wolverine. Currently, BBTS is offering a pre-order for a set of 3x Wolverine, 2x Cyclops, 2x Sabertooth, and 1x Emma Frost. The set is looking very desirable, as one gets updated X-Men characters to complete a modern style team. Even more importantly, a decent looking Emma Frost figure is finally being released to make up for the atrocious series 1-TRU exclusive- that just didn't quite cut it. Lastly, you gets a Puck BAF, which is of course the most exciting news of all. Check them out at BBTS!!!

I don't usually recommend statues, but the ArtFX line is a superb one. In fact, I own the Boba Fett. Not only are these statues smaller than usual in scale, they are typically constructed of a soft plastic, giving them the appearance of being larger-size figures when displayed. This is particularly nice, and I'm certainly excited for it. Please check it out at BBTS.

BBTS have opened on Wave 2 of Marvel Legends for 2013, which is good news for fans because of the exciting lineup of characters Hasbro has chosen. Not only is Hasbro, rehashing one of the most popular Legends characters ever (Hawkeye), they are also including a very attractive Jim Lee style Jean Grey, and the chance to complete your Wrecking Crew, without the long wait usually expected between same-team character releases. Lastly, they threw in an updated Black Panther and re-used the Big Time/ Future Foundation Spider Man mold to bring you Scarlet Spider. Oh, and did I mention you get a Rocket Raccoon BAF to add to the side of your ever so lonely Drax figure?

BBTS website, and at only $49.99, this is one you want to pick up. You may say: "hey that's pricey", yeah but it's S.H. Figuarts, which produces the BEST figures! Not to mention the figures in the line have a tendency to skyrocket in price, after original release. Also check out the Big-Bad-Toy-Store main page for other new kick-ass pre-orders.

Well it certainly has been quite a while since my last post, but school, work, life (and now even a Hurricane) will do that. Regardless, I still found the time to bring you this latest installment of Weekend Toy Fun. Not much fun given the 70 mph winds outside my window, but I still have power to shoot a couple nice pics. Check them out and some recent acquisitions and missed opportunities.

Well, I've been super busy, and certainly haven't had the time to sort through my vacation photos and put together that continued post on the Philippines. However, I was able to bring you a new edition of WTF! And who better to reintroduce this series of posts, than the "Merc with the Mouth", Deadpool! Oh yeah, that's right, Marvel Legends has brought back Deadpool in all his bad-assness. Check out more on him and some other cool finds.

On the second leg of my trip, I visited the Philippines, where I found a surprising amount of quality toy stores. Aside from regular big retail chain stores, I discovered a slew of hidden gems that equal many of those in Hong Kong. I'll even go as far as saying that the Philippines boasts more quality shops specializing the the sale of loose figures than Hong Kong. Read on to find out why, and how to get to these shops yourself.
